Let's make self-care our mission this month!
Self-care can be defined as an activity you do on purpose to care for or refuel yourself mentally, emotionally, or physically. Some examples of self-care may be getting enough sleep, meditation, laughing with friends, moving your body, or following up on medical check-ups. The idea is to make taking care of yourself a priority.
Self-care is not a selfish act! When we care for ourselves the others in our lives reap the benefits as well. We can fully engage with them and feel well enough to spend time with them.
Take some time this month to check in with yourself and care for your needs. This might mean meditation one day and movement another day. It might look like time spent with loved ones and just taking some time alone. Whatever your needs are today, take care of YOU!
