We’re excited to spotlight one of our dedicated students, Katty! Katty, a mother of two young boys, first dipped her toes into yoga during college. She signed up for a fitness class, not expecting it to be held in a gymnastics room on a spring floor. "I almost dropped the class after day one!" she recalls. But yoga would soon become more than just a fun fitness course.
Finding Her Flow at Hippie Yoga
Katty’s love for yoga has grown immensely, especially as it has become a vital part of her life. As a busy mom, she treasures the time she gets on her mat. "Yoga has become my time, and as a mom of two very young boys, that can be hard to come by." What keeps her coming back? It's not just the physical benefits, but the sense of community she feels at Hippie Yoga. "My favorite thing about yoga is that not only is it amazing for your physical body, it’s great mentally as well."
Katty’s yoga journey has helped her rebuild core strength and improve balance after having two C-sections. One moment stands out for her: "In the middle of class one day, I realized I was flowing in and out of majorette like nothing, and I was stunned at my body being able to do that."
