Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

We are excited to share that Hippie Yoga will be offering a new Yoga Alliance approved 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training beginning in Fall 2026.

This training is designed for those who have already completed their 200-hour training and are ready to dive deeper into yoga, teaching, and personal practice.

The program will take place one weekend a month over 18 months, creating space to learn, grow, and integrate along the way.

More details are coming soon, but if advanced study, deeper connection, and continued growth are calling your name, this may be your next step.

Yoga for Strength

A Continuing Education Training for Yoga Teachers

Yoga builds awareness, mobility, and connection to the body. But what happens when we intentionally layer strength training principles into a yoga practice?

Join Julie, an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, for a weekend designed to help yoga teachers confidently incorporate strength-focused elements into their classes while still honoring the integrity of a yoga practice. Julie has completed extensive additional training in strength training and the integration of weights and resistance work within yoga, and she will share practical tools you can start using right away.

During this training, we will explore how to help students build functional strength, stability, coordination, and resilience through thoughtful programming.

 

In This Training We Will Explore

• How to safely incorporate light weights into yoga classes
• Creative ways to use resistance bands in sequencing
• The power of bodyweight resistance in yoga
• Cueing students for proper form and joint safety
• Important precautions and modifications
• How to keep the spirit and intention of yoga intact while building strength
• Practical sequencing ideas you can bring into your classes immediately

 

This training is ideal for yoga teachers who want to expand their class offerings, support stronger and more resilient bodies, and bring fresh energy into their teaching.

Training Details

12 Hours Continuing Education
Counts toward Yoga Alliance CE credits

Includes two bonus classes from the Hippie Yoga schedule that you may attend or observe.

 

For teachers interested in our advanced studies program, this training can also be applied as 12 hours toward our 300-hour teacher training.
