Meet Sonia: A Journey of Healing and Transformation

Sonia's yoga journey began as a practical solution to a health issue. Advised by her doctor to take up yoga for her pinched sciatic nerve, Sonia initially tried stretching on her own without much success. Her turning point came when her daughter gifted her a two-week trial at Hippie Yog for Mother's Day. After her first class, Sonia was amazed at the improvement. "I couldn't believe how much better I felt," she recalls. "I actually was able to sleep through the night."

The positive changes didn't stop there. Sonia continues to attend classes, noticing not only a reduction in pain but also a some positive changes in herself. The ongoing benefits she experiences motivates her to keep coming back to yoga. She finds particular solace in the Peace, Love and Healthy Back and Basic Yoga classes, which have become her favorites.

One pose that stands out for Sonia is the Supported Candlestick. This pose has become a favorite.
