If you’ve taken a Peace Frog class with Jocelyn, you already know…
She teaches in a way that feels like someone gently turning down the volume on the world.
Right now her favorite pose is any version of a supine twist. She does it at night before bed and describes it as a “body, mind, spirit wringing out of the day.” Add meditation afterward and she’s ready for deep, restful sleep.
Jocelyn loves cues that help down-regulate the nervous system. Her classes are an invitation to soften. To breathe slower. To let your body unwind instead of push.
And she walks that talk off the mat too.If she starts to feel stressed or anxious, box breathing is her go-to reset. Simple. Steady. Effective.
When asked what makes Hippie unique, she said it’s the diversity of ages, bodies, and abilities practicing together. And when asked what she would tell every student?
“That it is always an honor and a privilege to lead them in a practice.”
That humility. That care. That’s Jocelyn.
Outside the studio you’ll find her outside in nature, whether in the woods at home or near the ocean. If she can be outdoors, she’s there.
If you haven’t experienced her Peace Frog class on Sunday Evening yet, consider this your invitation.
If you have, you already know the gift she brings to the room.
Come practice. Let your nervous system land.
